Moon Life Concept Store Catalogue
Sunday 24 October at 15.00 hrs. Volume 25 and the special insert catalogue for the Moon Life Concept Store are presented at Athenaeum Nieuwscentrum.
Moon Life proposes that 40 years after the first human being set foot on the moon, it is time for a more democratic, peaceful, artistic and cultural investigation of space. It will probably be very likely in the future that life in space will be possible and human bases on the moon or mars will be created. Moon Life focuses on the impact this would have on our daily lives and therefore wants to examine the potentialities and challenges of life on the moon not only in the fields of architecture, design but also for social, political and public life.
Prototypes and products developed by architects, designers, fashion designers and musicians are presented in the Moon Life Concept Store. In addition to this travelling popup shop a catalogue with background and sales information is published.

Stationery Design Now features some of the corporate identities we have developed in the last years.

A small overview of the Dutch Invertuals exhibition of last April made it into this magazine.

The French magazine on visual culture and design Etapes published a nice piece on the identity and spatial design we did for the Florarium Temporum exhibition. (a bit of a weird cover though)

Gestalten published their Los Logos Compass a few weeks ago. It turned out to be a comprehensive document about the contemporary logo culture. some of our logos along with an interview are in the publication as well. The logo’s featured are: BKRS crane systems, SDK vastgoed bv, Lebesque, De Buitenwereld, STRP, JSPR, De Negende, Florarium Temporum, Design Connection Brainport Eindhoven and Bits N Pieces.

The 2010 Saint Etienne International Design Biennale will again take over the ancient ‘Manufacture d’armes’ and the new Platine in the French city. The theme of this year’s edition will be all around Teleportation. It will deal with an extreme view of our society, a kind of ideal (or not) that we could yearn for and that could enable us to solve the many issues we are faced with nowadays. Issues related to ecological emergencies or transport demand, as well as problems resulting from the continual lack of time that puts our everyday lives under pressure. Edhv is invited to present Debug as part of the exhibition ‘Prediction’, which is curated by Benjamin Loyauté. This exhibition tends to explore the various trajectories that designers follow to meet the need for anticipation.
Some of the other participants showing at this exhibition: Nelly Ben Hayoun, James Auger & Jimmy Loizeau, Bless, Christien Meindertsma, Hannes Grebin, Herman Wallas, Marloes Ten Bhomer, Noam Toran and Onkar Kular, Olafur Eliasson, Pieke Bergmans, Piet Hendrikse, Sascha Pohflepp, Sjoerd Jonkers, Geoffrey Mann – Studio Mrmann.
