Mister Radio Philips

In honour of an unsung hero Jan Zwartendijk (a.k.a. Mister Radio Philips) the Philips Museum invited us to create an small exhibition on this subject.

As a Dutch consul in Lithuania, ‘Mister Radio Philips’ saved thousands of Jews by providing them with ‘adapted’ visas in 1940. This way they could escape the country in the nick of time. Visas To Freedom is an exhibition about this special man, with eyewitness accounts and personal stories of survivors.
