First tests of our Moon Life Tableware. Based on the energy of an impact. This is the ceramic part. next up is the glass part. The pieces will be on show in the Moon Life Concept Store in Shanghai.

Edhv was invited to show debug at the Graphic Design Festival Breda. Other participants where: Perongeluk, Studio Smack, Jeroen Holthuis, LUST, sndrv, Julius von Bismarck & Benjamin Maus (DE), Fabrica (IT) en Laikafont (CH). The theme of the show was decoding. we decided to make digital digits with the help of our little friends, the crickets the beetles and the woodlice.

We received a design magazine from South Korea today which features a small article about a project we did on Eindhoven history. Cool to see Eindhoven history in the World Wide “News” section written in Korean.

We teamed up with Wendy Plomp (WND) who had the project “Papercave” in Milan. We put up hundreds of paper cones to create this surreal space. It will be up during the fashion week in Milan at the exhibition space of the Verger shop.

For a recent project we are working on two augmented reality interfaces, for both the website and the live-event. The software is based upon the open-source ARToolKit class for the event and FLARToolKit for the website. 23 unique barcodes are defined for the 23 icons of eindhoven, based upon this barcode the correct 3D model and information needs to be shown.

We payed a visit to the place were some of the preparations for the exhibition took place. One of the objects for the bits ‘n pieces exhibition is formed by a rhinoscripted structure created by theverymany.
The Bits n Pieces team (about 15 volunteers) worked days and a night to “pop” all the pieces together somewhere in a Brooklyn studio. The maddest puzzle I’ve ever seen.
