Edhv is a strategy and design studio with a focus on creating meaningful identities. We don’t specialise in any one discipline, but instead make use of a broad range of disciplines to deliver identities that truly matter for our clients: We are architects of identity.
It is a concept cultivated from context, culture, and moulded by external influences and perceptions. Understanding this evolving formula is at the heart of what we do.
We have dedicated ourselves to building identities that express the uniqueness of a brand, organisation, place or project, that are never disposable nor shrill, but always essential and consequential.
Our studio is dynamic. We actively create the space needed for creativity to thrive and fuel our optimistic minds – only from real freedom of thought can something essential be forged. We begin each project without preconception, challenging ourselves and our clients in a process of investigation and determination that is unhindered and bold.
Research is our foundation. From this we can build a strong identity, without it everything else crumbles. We engage in a process of detailed observation; challenging assumptions and applying fresh perspectives.
The characteristics of a brand are shaped by evolution; the explosion or slow revelation of a culture. We allow change to happen, we observe it. We allow ideas to grow and exercise them. We let our creative energy flow and essential concepts emerge.
We focus on what truly matters and formulate a pure idea – a strategy – which then forms an identity; a true essence.
We work across different mediums to achieve results and our experienced team is the master of many disciplines. We embrace a genuinely collaborative approach; consistently working with an ever-growing network of vanguard designers and creatives. This network is a precious asset which affords us maximum flexibility and optimum creativity; making our studio far greater than its sum of parts.
The team consists of Remco van de Craats (creative-director), Polina Zaikina (graphic design), Nick Vonk (graphic design), Lena Geerts (strategy/design), Neele van Eekert (content creative), Esri Eland (project manager).
Our warehouse studio in Eindhoven is a place for meeting, inspiration and sharing ideas. Here, we have created a truly collaborative space for creative exchange in a city that is alive with international design talent. The spirit of Eindhoven is intrinsic to Edhv.
Those who know Edhv know of our close affiliation with Dutch Invertuals. Our strategic approach to identity creation is matched by their conceptual design ideation. The two studios remain independent but associates, coming together to pool specialist skills and perspectives.
