Odd Balls

Every now and then, a project comes along that is completely unexpected. The kind that takes you outside your comfort zone and into new creative territory. Those are often the ones we enjoy the most.

When Ger Peeters stepped down as Director of Wonen Limburg, he wanted to leave behind something more meaningful than a farewell speech or a commemorative gift. His idea was to share his legacy through a story, one to inspire a future generation.

Together, we created an illustrated children’s book set in a valley inhabited by a community of animals, featuring an owl and a wolf. Beneath the story lies a series of carefully woven metaphors that reflect the transformation of the housing corporation, the challenges it faced, and the values that shaped its journey.

A different kind of farewell. One that reminds us that stories often have the power to communicate ideas that reports and presentations never could.
